The Brilliant Dark

 There exists around me
A wide world of insanity
Voices filled with promise
Vie for attention before my eyes
Enticing paths run in all directions
Begging me follow
at my peril.
 There exists inside me
A vast realm of possibility
Darkness alive with potential
Shrouding treasure behind my eyes
Untapped thoughts lay in the crevices
Marking time
'til I awaken.
